Evelyn Dishaw

PhD Student / Lead Lab Manager

I am a second-year Ph.D. student studying Industrial-Organizational Psychology at Montclair State University. I obtained my B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University and M.S. in I/O Psychology from Baruch. After years of working in Human Resources and Organizational Development, I became interested in how scientific research could be used to improve employees' experience of work.  My research interests include leadership development, cross-cultural leadership, gender and leadership, construct measurement, role and identity conflict, and employee well-being.

Pallavi Honkanadavar

Master's Student

My interest in I/O Psychology began with a simple question: why do some workplaces inspire while others drain people? This curiosity evolved into a focus on the intersection of data and human behavior. Through rigorous graduate training and continuous self-learning, I have really begun to appreciate data not just for what it shows, but for what it means for organizations and employees. Some of my research interests include: the role of AI in making hiring decisions, cross-cultural leadership development, quantitative and data-driven approaches to organizational decision-making.
