My name is Valerie Sessa. I received my Master's and Doctoral degrees in Industrial-Organizational psychology from New York University. Prior to MSU, I worked as a research scientist and director at the Center for Creative Leadership. My current interests include leadership development in college students and continuous learning at the individual, group, and organizational levels.
Dr. Nathan Bowling

My name is Nathan A. Bowling, and I am a Professor of Psychology at the University of Central Florida, where I teach within the I-O Psychology Ph.D. concentration. I lead an active industrial and organizational psychology research lab that focuses on three topics: (a) job satisfaction, (b) careless responding to surveys, and (c) counterproductive work behavior.
Dr. Catrina Notari

My name is Catrina Notari, and I am an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Elmhurst University, where I teach within the I/O Psychology M.A. program and run the student led consulting group, Elmhurst Consulting Solutions. My research interests include job attitudes and perceptions, leadership understanding and development, and mentorship.

I am currently in my second year of graduate studies in I/O Psychology at Montclair State University, with a graduation date set for May 2027. My research interests include workplace psychological constructs, well-being, motivation, and leadership. I completed my BA in Psychology at Montclair State University in May 2022.
Nirvana Mejia
Master's Student/Project Manager
I am a current 2nd-year student at Montclair State University receiving my Master's degree in the Industrial-Organizational Psychology program while receiving an additional certification in Advanced Qualitative Methods. I received an A.A. in Psychology from Bergen Community College and a B.A. in Psychology from Montclair State University. My research interests include workplace psychological constructs and workplace public policy. Of the two, I am currently performing research on workplace psychological constructs. I am scheduled to graduate with my Masters in December 2023 and the certificate in May 2024.
Sara Stavely
Ph.D. Student/Graduate Research Assistant
I am a current 2nd year Ph.D. student in the Industrial-Organizational Psychology Doctoral program at Montclair State University. I received my B.A. in psychology from the West Chester University of Pennsylvania. My research interests include motivation, leadership, and DEI. I am scheduled to graduate with my doctorate in May 2026.
Alessandra Mogrovejo
Master's Student
I am a current 1st-year Master's student in the Industrial-Organizational Psychology Master's program at Montclair State University, where I am a Teacher's Assistant for Intro to Psychology and Perception courses. I received my B.A. in Psychology from Montclair State University in May 2023. My research interests include performance management, work attitudes, corporate ethics, and motivation. I am scheduled to graduate with my Master's degree in May 2025.

I am a 1st year Master’s student in the Industrial-Organizational Psychology Program at Montclair State University. I graduated in May of 2023 with my Bachelor’s in Psychology at Montclair State University. My research interests are motivation, workplace psychological constructs, and ethics.
